Is ethically appropiate the salary of footballers?

I don't really think that it is ethically correct the amounts of money that they earn for playing, a maximum of two matches per week. First of all, I have to say that, above all, I love football and I try not to miss a single match. However, elite players earn impossibles sum of money. This way, the ten highest paid players (Messi, Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic, Falcao, Thiago Silva, Bale, Xavi, Iniesta, Rooney and Drogba, according to 20 Minutos, and without including the advertising) earn in total and all together, 110.470.000 € (and for me it falls short). With this money it could be financed 40% of the budget of Cáritas or open more than 1.600 soup kitchens. Besides, it isn't normal that this players gain all of that money in a country which is going through a difficult time, with evictions, people who can't eat and with a minimum income of 752 € per month. Is it fair that a football player, who doesn't save anyone's live, earn more money than a researcher or doctor who tries to cure cancer?
