Problem/Solution essay (P.E)

One of the problems of Spanish people is that, in general, the level of English is quite low. Frequently, mid-aged people just know how to speak Spanish, and if they are lucky maybe some French.

A solution to this problem could be that people of this age learn English at their place of work, as a way to improve their professional skills. However, they don't have the same learning capacity than younger people. To avoid this future problem, schools should teach English to children when they are about three years old. It would be better if they do it when the kids are at the kindergarten because they would be really bilingual. Another solution is that, in the Spanish cinemas, they would show films in English, since it is a good way of learning. The problem of this solution is that some movies require a high level of English and there are differences in the pronunciation of the actors. Another option is to travel to countries in which people speak English natively. It is such an amazing experience, but it is very expensive and not everybody can afford its cost.

In conclusion, as English is the most important language in the world, people must learn how to speak it; learning foreign languages is wonderful to our mental health and to be in contact with people. So peple showld start learning it at an early age in order not to have problems with it in the near future.
